“Holy Conversations” Small Groups Forming
Be a part of a small group that will discuss our diverse faith traditions and beliefs as we prepare for the Lenten season. The Theologies Team of our denomination has recently developed a 9 lesson curriculum entitled “Holy Conversations” (see this descriptive file). The topics cover in the curriculum are:
- Ecclesiology (the formation and theology of MCC)
- Who is Jesus
- Holy Communion
- Baptism
- Ecumenical/Inter-Religious
- Global Justice
- Trans-formation and Tran Experiences
- Spirituality and Sexuality and
- Ministry
An introductory session will be held the week of January 29 and then small groups will meet once a week, either at the church or in each other’s homes, for a discussion of the 9 topics in the curriculum.
You can sign up as a group (approximately 6 persons per group), or you can sign up as an individual and be assigned to a small group of approximately 6 persons. Contact Nancy Maxwell to sign up for a group or call the church office, 272-1442, and leave a message.
